'GRICE still understands that pop music can be a vast edifice of warm, beautiful shapes, rather than a disposable prefab. It will appeal to fans of Japan and Tears For Fears, especially as Grice is a distinctive, ambitious vocalist. PROG magazine 2018
‘Mining a seam of Brit melancholic classy late ’80s synth-pop while adding his own song writing flare to the mix, and coming up trumps is GRICE’s stock in trade’ The Progressive Aspect
‘Art-Rock tunes that breathe introspection, travelling in and out of his innermost thoughts’ The Progressive Rock Files

lyrics
Cry
Begging you and begging me
count us out in two's and three's
4 & 20 years, is it nothing left but tears
a higher love - but painful, shameful
Cry - I won't cry
Finding out, it's time to shout
nothing - makes me feel this way
nothing but love
As she turns her gaze
do we count the days
something in the way that she's talking
do I stay
Anchored for the day
You don't have to cry

This can apply to any of Richard Barbieri's album. It is smart, it is great, it is packed with music and textures. It is dense yet remains clear due to Richard Babieri's mastery of composition an arrangement, as well as his command of sound design. This is, as all other albums, a must to have. Olivier Malhomme
