A song that we played many times live, not an easy one to capture on record as the energy and emotion really builds and needs the edge of performance to be fully realised. This version is a bit more open and honest and features the digital santoor of Fred Ehresmann and the wailing trumpets of Jerri Hart.

I play my Tzouras on this version which is very precious to me as it was aquired from Geōrgios Xylouris (Γιώργoς Ξυλούρης) son of the late great Nikos Xylouris the Cretan folk rock god - sadly Giōrgos is no longer with us as he passed away in 2016. He had a fine hand crafted music instrument shop in Athens and was gracious enough to make the album Propeller available for sale in his music emporium. Gx
