Propeller (Live session feat. Raphael Ravenscroft)

from propeller (inner workings) by GRICE

/

about

Live version of the track 'Propeller' recorded at Sound Gallery Studios in 2010 featuring the late great Raphael Ravenscroft on saxophone (Pink Floyd, Marvin Gaye). This live session showcases 'Propeller' in its purest form and is one of the few live sessions that Grice managed to capture with Raf playing live before he passed away back in 2014. The session was broadcast live on PhonicFM.

Taken from the forthcoming digital release by GRICE, titled 'Propeller Inner Workings' out on 4th December 2020 on hungersleep records.

'This is the song in its purest form, a stripped back acoustic version that has a special place in my heart as it was one of the few live sessions with Raff that we managed to capture. It was always a moving and inspiring experience to play with such a master - I miss him dearly and...'I hope he got home.'
My heart is still a propeller.
Respect. Gx
