An instrumental early mix of slowdive featuring the sound of the 1782 Virtual Vincenzo harpsichord (re-discovered in the basement of RAMM museum and sampled by myself and Paul Bateman many years ago).
This was the first time Joe Breban played drums to the song and his uncertainty creates real tension, I love hearing him wend his way and find a beautiful path through the song, switch downbeats and offbeats.
The exposed and fragile violin and viola parts give the song an almost Japanese feel.
This version has some experimental keys and electronic that didn't make it onto the album version.
